The Parliamentary Standing Committee going into the Lokpal Bill today steered clear of plans by Anna Hazare to renew protest here if it does not come up with strong recommendations on the measure."There is no need for premature reaction by us. Let the report come, be seen, analysed and absorbed. Otherwise, reacting to anyone now will be treated as nothing more or less than premeditated conclusions," Abhishek Singhvi, who is heading the Committee, told PTI.Singhvi's reaction came when asked about reports that Anna is planning to sit on a protest at Jantar Mantar on December 11 depending on the Standing Committee recommendations. The Committee has already said 25 issues including those concerning media, corporates, NGOs, lower bureaucracy and citizens grievances have been comprehensively dealt with in the report.Team Anna has been insisting that the lower bureaucracy, higher judiciary, provisions for Citizen Charter and setting up of Lokayuktas at state level be included in the ambit of Lokpal Bill.Consensus on the inclusion of the Prime Minister under the purview of Lokpal has so far eluded the panel with members sharply divided on the issue. The Parliamentary Panel is likely to submit its report before December seven.
