Inder Verma, Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga and Vishnu Gupta on Wednesday assaulted Bhushan in his chamber near the Supreme Court for his views on Kashmir.

While Verma was caught after the attack, Bagga and Gupta were arrested on Thursday. The duty magistrate sent the trio to Tihar jail. The magistrate will reconsider the Delhi police's demand for the trio's custody, on Friday.

The families of the assailants and 50 BSKS activists shouted slogans against Hazare, Bhushan and his father Shanti Bhushan while the case was being heard. They threatened the Bhushans and the judges with dire consequences if Verma, Bagga and Gupta were sent to jail.
