Rosaiah till now stayed in his own house at SR Nagar and also used it as his camp office. But with concerns raised over the security and also the inconvenience faced in conducting official work from his own house, the chief minister agreed to move into the official residence.

The government did some modifications to the official residence in accordance with vastu after late chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy's family vacated it two months ago.

Rosaiah and his family members conducted a special pooja before moving into the official residence today.

Union urban development minister S Jaipal Reddy, a few state ministers, chief secretary SV Prasad, DGP RR Girish Kumar and some MLAs attended the ceremony.
