Lauding actor Amitabh Bachchan, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said the legendary actor deserves Bharat Ratna and Padma Vibhushan is not enough.
Lauding actor Amitabh Bachchan, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said the legendary actor deserves Bharat Ratna and Padma Vibhushan is not enough.
"Amitabh Bachchan is a legend in his lifetime. Padma Vibhushan is not enough. Somebody of his stature deserves a Bharat Ratna," Banerjee said.
Indian cinema's two greatest actors – Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan – were selected on January 25 for the Padma Vibhushan, while directors Jahnu Barua and Sanjay Leela Bhansali and lyricist Prasoon Joshi are among others who will get Padma awards.
