Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah promised development for the tribals of Jharkhand and warned them to be wary of opposition parties who would plunder the state if they came to power.

"All of them will join hands to plunder Jharkhand after the polls. I have come here to appeal to you to vote for BJP and its ally All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU) for absolute majority government. I am promising that under the leadership of Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party government will work for the development of people, tribals and backward of Jharkhand," Shah said in Lohardaga district of the state.

The BJP chief also taunted Congress Vice-president Rahul Gandhi over clean governance by saying, "Rahul Gandhi, so far no irregularity has taken place during the Bharatiya Janata Party government. I am promising a transparent government."
