Ambika Soni inspects preparations for IFFI 2011
The Ravindra Bhavan in Margao complex will be spruced up for holding inauguration of ten-day-long festival in November this year.
Union minister for information and broadcasting, Ambika Soni, today visited Ravindra Bhavan in Margao, which is scheduled to host the opening ceremony of International Film Festival of India (IFFI) - 2011. The complex will be spruced up for holding the inauguration of ten-day-long festival in November this year. Government spokesperson said that Soni was accompanied by RP Reddy, joint secretary (Films) - Ministry of Information and Broadcasting; Manoj Srivastava, chief executive officer of Entertainment Society of Goa, and other state officials. Sources stated that a power point presentation was shown to the minister about the existing facilities and the upgradation plans.
