ALLAHABAD: A statue of Dalit icon BR Ambedkar in the Allahabad University premises was found damaged on Wednesday, close on the heels of a similar incident in nearby Kanpur.
 
The statue of the Dalit leader, whose 50th death anniversary was observed on Wednesday, was found damaged on the university's law faculty premises early in the morning.
