Congress Deputy Leader in Lok Sabha Amarinder Singh  on Friday attacked Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal for sharing dais with leaders of anti-BJP parties saying "it is like running with the hare and hunting with the hounds". Badal had attended a joint rally with JDU leaders Nitish Kumar and Sharad Yadav on Thursday in Haryana's Jind where the latter attacked Shiromani Akali Dal's alliance partner BJP and the Narendra Modi government.

"This only reflects his (Badal) dual character which he can mould according to the needs and necessities. ...Any morally upright leader will never participate in any such programme where his alliance partner is being condemned, criticised and abused," Amarinder said in a statement here. He also criticised SAD for contesting the Haryana elections in alliance with INLD much to the chagrin and discomfort of the BJP."... It is like running with the hare and hunting with the hounds," he said.

Amarinder said he was not concerned about the relations between BJP and SAD but wanted the people of Punjab to know how Badal could change his stand "so frequently and so conveniently" by aligning with a party in Punjab and Delhi and opposing the same in Haryana.
