Allahabad University polls: Samajwadi Chhatra Sabha wins 4 seats, ABVP wins one seat
The Samajwadi Chatra Sabha (SCS), a student wing of Samajwadi Party, won four out of five posts in the Allahabad University Student Union Election.

The elections results were declared late on Saturday night.
The SCS won the posts of President, Vice President, Joint Secretary and Cultural Secretary, whereas the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) camp won the post of Joint Secretary.
Beating the nearest rival Mrityunjay Rao Parmar, SCS' Avanish Kumar Yadav was elected as President with 3226 votes.
In 2016 the ABVP won the posts of President and Joint Secretary.
