Akbaruddin Owaisi, sitting MLA of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMM), was shot in his office in Hyderabad. He has been rushed to the hospital.
All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi was shot at and injured by unidentified assailants in old city here today. The Chandrayangutta legislator, who is floor leader of the party in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly, was attacked in his office, police said. Akabaruddin, the brother of MIM President MP Assadudin Owaisi, has been rushed to Deccan Medical College and Hospital, they said. Further details are awaited.
