The All India Anti-Terrorist Front will honour serving armed forces jawans and widows of martyrs by presenting them with bravery awards here tomorrow.

AIATF would also adopt orphaned children and present scholarships towards their education under 'Sampurna Shiksha' at the function, AIATF chairman M S Bitta said. Bitta is also organising a commemorative programme 'Zara Yaad Karo Qurbani' on October 21 to pay homage to the jawans on the occasion of police day.

The programme is a national tribute to the bravery of the resolute jawans who laid down their lives while protecting the sovereignty and integrity of the country. Serving jawans will be presented 'Veer Bravery Awards' at the function, while widows of martyrs would be presented the awards posthumously.

Families of armed forces personnel and police personnel from Tamil Nadu, who lost their lives while in service would also be honoured.
