An alert was sounded today in Naxal-hit districts of Bihar in the wake of the Maoist attack at Dantewada in Chhattisgarh that left at least 73 securitymen dead."We have put the police stations in the Naxal-hit districts on a high alert," director general of police Neelmani said.All the superintendents of police were asked to step up the combing operations against the Maoists, Neelmani said, adding all precautionary measures were being taken.Altogether 16 of the 38 districts of Bihar are Maoist affected.
