An air-ambulance carrying ailing JMM chief Shibu Soren on Sunday returned from mid-air to take an extra oxygen cylinder here.
    
The aircraft once again took off for New Delhi after the additional oxygen cylinder, public relations officer of Abdur
Razzaq Memorial Weavers Hospital, Javed Akhtar, said here.

The director of Birsa Munda airport, AV Krishnan, confirmed the mid-air return.
    
Soren, who had been admitted to the hospital on Friday due to urinary tract infection and cardiological problem, was flown to New Delhi to consult doctors at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Akhtar said.
