After three days of continuous rains, Ahmedabad’s temperature has dipped by six degrees Celsius. If forecasts by metrological department are to be believed, rainfall will continue in short spells on Tuesday while some parts of the city may even get heavy rain.

Ahmedabad received 198 mm of rainfall in last three days with 105 mm of it coming in last 24 hours. The city received an average 52 mm with north Ahmedabad getting the most—108 mm. Western and eastern parts received 72 and 59 mm respectively.

As per figures of the state emergency centre, Gujarat has received 14.95% of season’s rain. North Gujarat registered 14.48% while central Gujarat  received 11.34%. Saurashtra and south Gujarat received 22.08% and 12.27% rains respectively this season.
