Congress today said it was the prerogative of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to take action against telecom minister A Raja who is facing allegations of corruption in allocation of 2G spectrum.

"The matter is in focus for long, but it is sub judice and until a decision comes it is difficult to comment," Congress spokesperson Jayanthi Natarajan told reporters here.

"The ultimate prerogative will be of the Prime Minister, they are coalition partners," she said, alluding to Raja belonging to DMK, a key ally of the Congress-led UPA.
