In front of 50,000 Indian-Americans in a multi-purpose stadium and billions watching him on TV, Prime Minister Narendra Modi deftly played his 'Trump' card on Sunday night in Houston, US.

"Ab ki baar Trump sarkar," said the PM sending the audience into raptures at the 'Howdy Modi' event in Texas. This is the second time Modi has endorsed US President Donald Trump for another term.

Setting the stage to attack Pakistan, Modi said India is ready to bid farewell to open defecation and several old ways, hinting at Article 370. "The country has also bid farewell to something that was there for 70 years. I hope you understood what I mean."

Without naming the neighbour, Modi said, "They have made hatred towards India their central focus. Be it 9/11 or 26/11, everybody knows where the plotters were found." The stinging attack comes at a time when Pakistani PM Imran Khan is in US to address the UNGA on September 27. His talk is expected to centre around India's move on Kashmir. Modi will also speak at the event the same day.

Pitching India as a leading player in the digital world, he said data is the new oil and 1GB costs one-fourth of a dollar in the country. He invited Trump and his family to India.
