The Supreme Court today listed for August 9 hearing on the application moved by Rajesh Talwar, father of murdered teenager Aarushi, seeking restraint on the media from irresponsible reporting in the case.A bench of justice Altamas Kabir and justice AK Patnaik, however, refrained from passing any fresh restraint order on the media from publishing/broadcasting matters relating to the case.Senior counsel Pinaki Mishra and Dr Surat Singh had sought a fresh interim direction from the apex court to restrain the media from reporting on the issue.The counsel submitted that though on July 22, 2008, the apex court has restrained the media from any irresponsible reporting, for the past two months there has been a slew of reports damaging the reputation of the parents and the deceased girl.Aarushi's parents had on July 21 approached the apex court seeking to restrain media from irresponsible reporting of the case.Aarushi, the 14-year-old daughter of the dentist couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar, was found dead with her throat slit in her parents' home at Jalvayu Vihar in Noida on May 16, 2008. Her domestic help Hemraj was also found murdered in the same house the next day.
