AAP came under attack today from BJP as it charged that the ruling party was handing out posts of parliamentary secretaries to its MLAs with a view to quelling the infighting which has jolted the party within weeks of its coming to power in Delhi."The chief minister's camp in AAP is using the post of parliamentary secretary as a lollipop to prevent the fight within the party," Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay alleged in a statement here. Claiming that the ruling party was adopting "double standards" after coming to power, he said that AAP had given a proof of that by appointing 21 of its MLAs as parliamentary secretaries."Before coming to power, AAP leaders were talking about putting a minimum burden on the exchequer but, after coming to power, they are going to appoint two dozen MLAs as parliamentary secretaries only to provide them with various government facilities," he said.Upadhyay claimed that there was no provision for appointing "private secretaries" in such a manner in the Delhi Administration Act. No government in Delhi has appointed parliamentary secretaries in such large numbers, he said. Also Read: Delhi BJP attacks AAP, says it has become person-centric party
