22-year-old Vishnu, a worker in a tent company, yesterday took the minor to nearby bushes and raped her in Kosi town under Kosi Kalan Police Station area, Dy SP Atul Kumar Srivastava said. The girl's family, on hearing her cries, rushed to the spot, following which the accused fled the spot.
She was taken to a private hospital which referred her to Agra medical college. "We have received his location and if it is correct, he would be arrested today," Kumar said, adding, Vishnu has been booked under POCSO Act.
