Around 600 pirated DVDs of latest movies including Raavanan, Singam, and porno films were seized during raids at various places in city, police said.
A department press release said 15 persons involved in the racket were arrested and 12 cases registered against them under the Copyright Act.
City Police Commissioner T Rajendran warned those selling pirated DVDs that they would be arrested under the Goondas Act, it added.
