A 60 year old woman, missing since Friday, has been found trampled to death by wild elephants in Kadambur forest range in the district.
 
The body of Deviammal with injuries confirming elephant trampling was recovered today, police and forest officials said.
 
The woman from Kattadi forest settlement area had ventured into the forest on Friday for grazing her cattle but did not return, following which a search was launched.
