Six persons were hospitalised following gas leakage at a company engaged in manufacturing pesticides today, police said.

The company spokesperson said that those affected were people living in the vicinity adding the workers in the company were not affected.
Trivedi said that leakage was caused after a mechanical fault in one of the machines, that led to increase in pressure in the pipeline.
Police have registered a complaint and are investigating the cause of leakage and are questioning the company engineers.
