After getting killed, the carcasses of the cows lay on both sides of the railway track of the Ragaul Railway Station.

On seeing this, villagers, top officials of the district and police administration gathered on the spot and later buried all the bodies by digging a pit.

"36 dead cows were found near the Ragaul railway station of the district this morning.

Gaurakshaks believe that the incident was not merely an accident and that the cows were murdered," gaurakshak, Ashish Singh said.

Even in Bundelkhand, half a dozen cows were found dead.
