Three patients, who lost their eyesight after they underwent cataract surgery, will be sent to Sankara Eye Hospital in Chennai for further treatment on Monday.
A special aircraft has been arranged for the patients to send the patients for better medical aid and one family member is allowed to accompany the patient. A team of experts, led by Dr Rajeev Raman, performed eye surgery on the patients and their condition has improved.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath announced to bear the cost of eye surgeries and provide medical aid to the patients. According to the sources, the Health Minister Tulsi Silavat suspended ophthalmologist from National Programme for Control of Blindness.
