Congress today dismissed suggestions that its ties with key ally DMK will undergo strain in case of any action against Tamil Nadu chief minister M Karunanidhi's daughter Kanimozhi in the second generation mobile telephony spectrum case."Our (Congress-DMK) relationship is very good, very strong and it will continue," AICC general secretary in-charge of Tamil Nadu Ghulam Nabi Azad said.He was asked if "possible arrest" of Kanimozhi will affect the ties between the two parties.Azad's remarks came on a day when DMK MP Kanimozhi appeared before a special court, responding to summons for her alleged involvement in the 2G spectrum scam and sought bail on grounds of being a woman. In its supplementary charge sheet filed in a special court on April 25, the CBI had accused Kanimozhi of entering into a criminal conspiracy with former telecom minister A Raja for allegedly accepting illegal gratification through Kalaignar TV -- a channel run by the ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu, in which the money related to the scam was routed.
