The Supreme Court has agreed to revisit its judgment regarding the cancellation of 122 spectrum licenses to different telecom companies but it would only examine whether auction of natural resource is the only legitimate manner of appropriating the scarce national resource.

The government said it’s not challenging the entire judgment but only its one aspect. “Issue of extension of cancelled licenses will be dealt with when DoT’s application for extending the auction deadlines is heard,” the court said.
