Two groups quarrel over collection of money; also manhandle, thrash advocate.
After venting their ire at a city police station just two days back, rival groups of eunuchs again created a scene at the district court when they had arrived there to strike a compromise in a case on Thursday afternoon.
There was sensation for a while outside court of chief judicial magistrate in the second half as two groups of eunuchs entered arguments while using filthy language and consequently pounced upon one-another.
The police personnel, advocates and other people have no other way to watch as mute spectators for around 15 minutes. When an advocate asked them to settle their personal scores outside court premises, the eunuchs even manhandled and thrashed him.
Seeing their fellow lawyer in trouble, a group of lawyers then took on the fighting eunuchs and retaliated in the same manner and also called senior police officials. Soon, police force arrived and escorted the eunuchs to MG Road police station. Police station in-charge Kanhaiya Lal Dangi said that as many as 27 eunuchs were booked under Section 151 of CrPC for disturbing peace in the court and all of them were sent to jail.
During initial investigation it came to fore that over 50 eunuchs were gathered at court premises in connection with a case over dispute of possession of a house at Nandlalpura where they were staring and passing lewd comments at each other.
It may be noted that just two days back on Monday, the same groups had a similar fight at Chhatripura police station over collection money from people in the area.
