Pakistan’s foreign ministry is believed to have informed the external affairs ministry here about the cancellation of the visit, though reasons for the same are not known. No fresh dates have yet been proposed, official sources said.

The commission was supposed to record statements of key witnesses including the doctors who conducted postmortem of the slain terrorists, 26/11 case Investigating Officer Ramesh Mahale, and Mumbai magistrate RV Sawant Waghul, who recorded the confession of Ajmal Kasab.
