2.48 crore people of Gujarat will vote today

Political parties on Thursday face a real big test to gauge voters’ mood, as 2.48 crore Gujaratis will be voting for 24 district panchayats, 208 taluka panchayats and 53 municipalities.

Six district panchayats, 67 taluka panchayats and 6 municipalities are currently under Congress rule. But the BJP looks set to maintain its huge majority and even dent the Congress stronghold.
