In a major haul of country-made bombs in Belsore village of Burdwan district in West Bengal, the district police seized 200 crude bombs from the village under the Raina police station limits on Sunday.  Acting on a tip-off, the police unearthed these crude bombs during a search operation. Besides recovering the bombs, the police also seized as many as two pipe-guns and a huge cache of arms and ammunition from a local club in the village.  Meanwhile, the bomb disposal squad has been rushed to the spot to carry out more such searches in the area.  According to the district police, the raids in the Raina police station limits and adjoining areas would continue. A case has been registered in connection with the incident and police has so far arrested two people.  “We are investigating the case. We have already nabbed two of the four involved in the case. We are likely to make more arrests soon. More clues could be obtained only after questioning the two arrested,” said a senior police official of Burdwan district police.
