2 more bodies pulled out of snow in Leh

Death toll in Friday’s avalanche tragedy has climbed to seven after two more bodies were pulled out on Saturday near Khardung La Pass in Leh district of Ladakh. “Arrangements are being made to airlift the bodies to Zanaskar. Search is in progress for the remaining three.,” said Amir Ali, director, disaster management department. A large mass of snow hit the cold desert, sweeping away two trucks and burying 10 20 feet under snow.
