Complaints of anti party-activities were received against former councilor Surendra Prakash Sharma and block president Ashok Sharma, said Chairman of the committee Narendra Nath.

They have been expelled from the party for a period of six years, he said.

"In an investigation, they were found to be closely associated with Arvinder Singh Lovely who quit Congress and joined the BJP during municipal polls in April," he added.

The decision to expel Surendra and Ashok was taken in a meeting of the disciplinary committee.
