Amid volatile security situation in Pakistan, more than 1,500 Sikh devotees today crossed over to the neighbouring country by Samjhauta Express from the Attari railway station here today.
       
The visit of Sikh pilgrims to Pakistan was arranged by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee.
       
According to the SGPC, Sikh devotees went to Pakistan to observe the birth anniversary of founder of the Sikh religion, Guru Nanak Dev, at Nankana Sahib on November 2.

Earlier on October 29, more than 200 Sikh devotees had gone to Pakistan.
