Twelve persons were injured as seven vehicles collided with each others this morning on the Greater Noida Expressway here due to thick fog which hampered visibility, police said.
The first collision took place between two trucks at 3am, they said.
As the trucks had not been removed from the Expressway, five cars which came later could not see the dilapidated vehicles due to the dense fog and rammed in to each other one after the other.
Around 12 persons were injured and were taken to private hospitals nearby, the police said, adding, the last collision took place around 9am.
