11 die after drinking methyl alcohol in UP
Eleven people, including three women, died on Monday after consuming methyl alcohol, mistaking it to be liquor in the district, police said.
FAIZABAD (Uttar Pradesh): Eleven people, including three women, died on Monday after consuming methyl alcohol, mistaking it to be liquor in the district, police said.
The incident occurred near Lohia bridge on the Faizabad-Lucknow highway where 12 people fell ill after consuming methyl alcohol on Sunday, police said.
Those taken ill were rushed to the hospital where 11 people, including three woman, died on Monday.
