A total of 1,821 candidates contested in the Telangana assembly elections. Elaborate security arrangements have been made for counting of votes that will be done under tight vigil and CCTV camera surveillance.
2.All eyes are on key constituencies
Key seats to watch out for in Telangana are Gajwel, Sirsilla, Siddipet, Kodangal, Huzurnagar, Nalgonda, Kukatpally and Goshamahal.
3.Will KCR swear in as CM again?
Caretaker chief minister KCR has contested the elections from Gajwel and he is up against the Congress’s Vanteru Pratap Reddy.
4.What's needed?
A party would need at least 60 seats to form a government in the state.

5.A hung assembly?
Telangana unit BJP chief Dr K Laxman on Sunday said that his party is open for alliance in the state with any party other than the Congress and Asaduddin Owaisi led AIMIM if the saffron party fails to win majority of seats in the recently-held state Assembly elections to form the government.
