These Commissions were introduced with two fold functions of recruiting class III staff and also tender advice to General Managers for dealing with appeals from subordinate staff on disciplinary matters.

Here are few last minute preparation tips for the candidates:

Railway Recruitment Board has released the online mock tests. Try to solve at least three mock tests in a day. Analyse your performance in each test. Mock tests help you to get in the right mindset before the exam. It gives a fair idea to the candidate how the main exam will be like.

Since the questions will be objective type so candidates should now focus on solving sample papers with objective type questions. This would help the candidates in making their own strategy and will also help you analyse how to manage your time.

Revise only the basic concepts now as basics can never be replaced by anything. Your clarity in the basic concepts can get you brownie points in the exam. For example, in subjects like mathematics, revise all the formulas and theorms.

General Knowledge is the one and only section where you can score the maximum marks because you don't need to solev anything in this. Brush up your knowledge of everyday science from Class 9 and Class 10. Go through the recent national and international important events. you can also refer to recent yearbooks to upgrade your general knowledge.

Do not lose patience. Read the questions very carefully and avoid rushing to conclusions immediately. Apply a methodical approach and go step by step in solving the questions. For questions based on reasoning, practice will make you perfect.

There is no need to panic as these are the topics that you have already studied and hence there is no need to panic. Focus and try to find out the answer.  Just revise and practice what you know and give exam confidently.  Keep in mind that that the level of questions would at most be of 9th and 10th standard and you have studied a lot of it.

All the best!
