PM Modi and BJP President Amit Shah in the last few days have repeatedly claimed that the opposition's reactions post Pulwama have made Pakistan smile. In a way they have helped Pakistan, said the senior BJP leaders.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi warned that last week's air strike in Pakistan won't be India's last such action against terrorism emanating from the neighbouring country, as he asked the Opposition not to malign India's armed forces and desist from giving statements which may hog limelight in the Pakistani media.
“Bharat ke neta bayanbazi karte hain wo Pakistan ke akhbaro ki headline banti hai, Pakistan parliament mein charcha ho rahi hai. Aap aisi baat bologe jispe Pak taali bajaye? Desh ki sena ne himmat dikhayi aur main intezaar lamba nahi kar sakta. Chun chun ke hisaab lena meri fitrat hai [India's leaders give out statements that become headlines in Pakistani newspapers and are discussed in Pakistan's parliament. Will you utter such words that draw applause in Pakistan? Our forces have shown valour, I can't wait for more. Picking and choosing each one to settle accounts is in my nature],” he said.

Amit Shah too has severely criticised opposition's reaction. Hessaid, "Mamata Banerjee is asking for proof, Rahul Gandhi is saying it's being politicised, Akhilesh is demanding for inquiry. They should be ashamed of their statements which is bringing a smile on the face of Pakistan. I know they do not have calibre as much as Modi ji have, but if they cannot support it, they should at least learn to remain silent."

Here we see some of the cases where prominent Pakistani political parties and media networks have used opposition's words to further their anti- India agenda

The Congress on Sunday said the Modi government claims that the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) inviting India to attend its plenary was a diplomatic success has fallen flat with the 57-nations grouping adopting a resolution that "supported" Pakistan on the Kashmir issue.

"External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj attended the OIC meeting in Abu Dhabi. The NDA-BJP government touted it as a huge diplomatic success for India that it has been invited to attend the plenary...But what happened in Abu Dhabi is extremely disturbing for India," said Congress spokesperson Manish Tewari.

Taking note of his conference, Imran Khan's party PTI wrote: "Calling a spade a spade, and recognition of Indian atrocities in Kashmir as “terrorism” by the OIC leads opposition parties in India to question #WarMongerModi; “can we not take care of the people of Kashmir” is the question asked with a mounting death toll in the valley."

On March 3, Radio Pakistan ran two stories on Digvijaya Singh. One was about controversial Congress leader praising Imran Khan for sending back Wing Commander Abhinandan Vartaman. Another story on similar lines was titled 'Digvijaya appreciates Pakistan for showing new way of being good neighbour'. It basically tried to underline the theme that senior Congress leader is acknowledging that in Naya Pakistan, things can be different and it also contains generous amount of criticism levelled against PM Modi by Congress leaders including Rahul Gandhi.

The statement was played by leading Pakistani channel Geo TV and now the clip has gone viral on Twitter. Many twitter users are angry with Rahul Gandhi, Mamata Banerjee and Arvind Kejriwal, whose words have been used by the Pakistanis to further their agenda.

Geo News tried to establish the official Pakistani line that India is creating tension as there is election in the country. Imran Khan too has repeatedly peddled the same line. So Kejriwal's words were lapped up by Pakistani media and given a convenient spin.

"The leaders observed that the Prime Minister has, regrettably, not convened an all-party meeting as per established practice in our democracy."

This was prominently reported by Radio Pakistan.

Terming Navjot Singh Sidhu as 'pro-peace' politician, GEO prominently covered his comments where he virtually questioned Indian Army's statement on cross border strike on Pakistan's terror factories.

Geo also quoted Kapil Sibal who asked PM Modi to give proof of the Balakot air strike.
