Recently, Indane Gas company has started a service for their customers where you can link your Aadhar card to the Gas agency with a phone call.
The Aadhar card has become pertinent for Indians. Whether it is to establish your identity or to get a subsidy from the government, Aadhar card is used in an array of fields. However, the benefits of Aadhar are greater only when it is linked to your accounts.
Under the Direct Benefit Transfer scheme by the Government of India, LPG customers need to link their Aadhar card number with the gas agency. The government has taken this step to make the subsidy transfer process hassle-free and easier. Recently, Indane Gas company has started a service for their customers where you can link your Aadhar card to the Gas agency and that too by sending just one message or with one phone call.
Let’s take a look at how you can link your Aadhar number with Indane Gas agency.
1. Register you mobile number

Make sure that your mobile number is registered with the Indane Gas agency. To register your phone number, go to your message box and in a new message, type IOC<STD code of the telephone number of the gas agency> and send it to the customer care number. If you do not know the number of the gas agency, then you can visit the official website ‘https://cx.indianoil.in" If your number is already registered, you can send a message to get your Aadhar card linked.
2. Send text message to link

Once your number is registered, you have to send a message to link the Aadhar card and Indane Gas connection. For this, you have to type UID <Aadhar number> in a new message and send it to the same number i.e, the gas agency number. After doing this, your gas connection will be linked to your Aadhar card and you will get a confirmation message on your mobile number.
3. You can link via phone call as well

You can also link your Indane Gas connection with your Aadhar card though a phone call. For that, call on 1800 2333 5555 from your registered mobile number. You then have to tell your Aadhar number to the customer care employee, which will then link your gas connection and Aadhar number.
4. Register online

You can also link your Aadhar card with Indane Gas online. First, you need to go to the official website of UIDAI. There, fill your address location and fill other necessary details like benefit types scheme, distributor’s name, and Indane Gas ID. After putting your contact details, click on the submit button. You will then get an OTP on your registered number, fill that and submit your application to complete the process.
5. Register via IVRS method

Go to the official website of Indane gas to find out the IVRS (Interactive Voice Response system) contact details. Call on the IVRS number, enter your Aadhar number and confirm your details. Follow the instructions to link Aadhar card to Indane Gas connection.
