J Jayalalithaa, Supremo of AIADMK was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for the sixth time and here are some of the photographs from the ceremony.

A little over one year since Jaylalithaa Jayaram of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) was released from the prison, she was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, by Governor K Rosaiah at the Madras University Centenary Auditorium. This was the sixth time that she was sworn in as the CM, and the second time in a row.

Along with her, 28 other ministers were sworn in including Jayalalithaa's trusted Finance Minister O Panneerselvam.

Seated in the front row were, Venkaiah Naidu, Pon Radhakrishnan, Lok Sabha speaker and senior AIADMK leader M Thambidurai and Jayalalithaa's confidante Sasikala.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered his congratulations over Twitter:

 She had reportedly called on Rosaiah at Raj Bhavan earlier on Monday and informed him of her decision on being elected as the Leader of AIADMK along with a list of 28 Cabinet Ministers that the Governor approved.
