3.Prime Minister's dream project
This is also called the 'Prime Minister's dream project' of redeveloping the nation's administrative heart. The project was announced by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs on September 13, 2019.
4.Essential project of national importance: Delhi High Court
The Delhi High Court on Monday dismissed a plea seeking direction to suspend all construction activity of the Central Vista Avenue Redevelopment Project in view of the second wave of the COVID19 pandemic. Terming the project as “vital and essential”, the HC allowed construction work on the project to continue. The court has also imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh on the petitioner saying it’s a ‘motivated plea and not a PIL.

5.Bhumi Pujan of new Parliament building
The groundbreaking ceremony for the new Parliament building was held on December 10, 2020. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for a new, triangular Parliament building, with the capacity to seat between 900 and 1,200 MPs. The building is expected to be constructed by August 2022 when the nation will be celebrating its 75th Independence Day.
