Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh on Tuesday attacked Punjab CM Imran Khan for trying to be evasive about Pulwama terror attack and divulged the location of Jaish-e Mohammed chief Azhar Masood. Completely rejecting Imran Khan's demand for sharing of proof, Amarinder Singh brought up the reference of 26/11 where no action was taken by Pakistan despite details dossiers being supplied.

Easy to start a war, difficult to end it: Top quotes from Imran Khan's speech

Amarinder Khan said on Twitter:

Dear @ImranKhanPTI you have Jaish chief Masood Azhar sitting in Bahawalpur & masterminding the attacks with ISI help. Go pick him up from there. If you can’t let us know, we’ll do it for you. BTW what has been done about the proofs of Mumbai’s 26/11 attack. Time to walk the talk. pic.twitter.com/Zct6I7QieY

Amarinder Khan said, " Dear @ImranKhanPTI you have Jaish chief Masood Azhar sitting in Bahawalpur & masterminding the attacks with ISI help. Go pick him up from there. If you can’t let us know, we’ll do it for you. BTW what has been done about the proofs of Mumbai’s 26/11 attack. Time to walk the talk."

Imran Khan earlier in a speech said, ""If you have any actionable intelligence that a Pakistani is involved. Give it to us. I guarantee you we will take action - not because we are under pressure, but because they are acting as enemies of Pakistan," he said.

"I have been hearing and seeing on the Indian media that politicians there are calling for revenge from Pakistan. If India thinks it will attack Pakistan, then we will not just think but retaliate." "Starting a war is in our hands, it is easy. But ending a war, that is not in our hands and no one knows what will happen. Khan said.

"Its not in our interests that somebody from here goes out to do terrorism, nor that somebody comes here and does terrorism," he added.

Asserting that the entire country was "fed up" with the senseless killings of Indian soldiers in Kashmir, Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Monday called for coercive action against Pakistan, which, he suggested, could be military, diplomatic or economic, or a combination of all the three.

Calling for the death of two "of them" for every Indian soldier killed in Pulwama attack, Singh said it's clear that the Pakistan Army was calling the shots, with Prime Minister Imran Khan also a "plant" of the military.

"We should get 82 of them since 41 of our men have been killed," the chief minister asserted, demanding an "eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth".

Amarinder Singh who has taken a strong stance against Pakistan tweeted that JeM chief stays in Bahawalpur in Pakistan. He also said that if Imran Khan is unwilling to pick him up, he should say so and the Indian government will do it.

But most importantly he called out Pakistan's tactics of asking for actionable intelligence. In the past, dossiers after dossiers on 26/11 have been sent to Pakistan, but nothing concrete has come out of it ever.

He said it was for the Centre to decide what action should be taken, but it was clear that some measures have to be taken urgently.
"India wants it now," he said.

"No one is asking anyone to go to war, but these killings of soldiers are not a joke. Something has to be done. I'm fed up, the country is fed up," he said, according to an official release issued here.

The chief minister said the Indian government should take "whatever measures" are required and "we will support them." "Pakistan can't hold India to ransom just because they are a nuclear nation, even we are nuclear," he said, asserting that Indian forces had defeated them during the 1999 Kargil war in spite of their nuclear capability.

In any case, Islamabad could never resort to use of nuke weapons, as international pressure would not allow that, he said, suggesting New Delhi should call Pakistan's bluff against such threats.

There is palpable anger across the country after the killing of CRPF jawans by a Jaish suicide bomber in Pulwama, he said.

"If they (Pak-backed terrorists) kill our soldiers, we have to do something," he said.

The statement of the Punjab CM came just days after his Cabinet colleague Navjot Singh Sidhu called for dialogue with Pakistan even after the Pulwama terrorist attack.

Sidhu had condemned the "cowardly" attack by the Pakistan-based terrorist group but he also called for dialogue to find a "permanent solution" to end the bloodshed.

Calling for a proactive role in destroying the safe havens of terrorists, Amarinder Singh, a former serviceman, said terrorist organizations within Jammu and Kashmir have to be dealt with.

He said the Army should go after Jaish-e-Mohammad in Kashmir, instead of firing pellets and blinding youth. "Let's win their (youths) hearts and minds with love," he said.

The chief minister also said that questions are bound to be asked on intelligence failure in Pulwama attack and the central government will have to answer them.

He called for a global diplomatic offensive against Pakistan, mooting harsh measures to put a lid on Islamabad's anti-India actions. The surgical strikes had not achieved the desired objective, he said, adding that Islamabad needs to be made to understand that Indian soldiers are not dispensable.

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday continued to remain in denial mode and demanded for actionable intelligence.

Khan said Pakistan was ready for talks with India on terrorism.

"I say it clearly this is a Naya (new) Pakistan and a new mindset," he said.

"India talks about including terrorism in dialogue with Pakistan. Terrorism is a big issue facing this region and we want to eliminate it," Khan said.

"If someone is using Pakistan's soil [to carry out terror attacks elsewhere], it is enmity with us. It is against our interests." He said he did not respond to India's allegations as he was busy with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's visit to the country.

"India accused Pakistan without any evidence and without thinking how this [attack] would benefit us," he added. "Would even a fool try to sabotage such an important visit as that of the Saudi crown prince?" the prime minister asked.

"We have been fighting against terrorism for the past 15 years. How will Pakistan benefit from such incidents?" On the Kashmir issue, Khan said "Kashmiris are not afraid of death anymore. There must be a reason for that. Should there not be a discussion in India on this?" he asked. "Which law in the world allows everyone to become a judge and jury?" Questioning whether India "wants to resolve the issue through military", Khan said, "This has never been a successful measure." The already sour relations between India and Pakistan have worsened over the past week as New Delhi blamed Islamabad for the Pulwama attack. The Pakistani leadership has strongly refuted the allegations.
