COVID-19: Unlock 5.0 guidelines can be announced today, here is what discounts you can expect

In the guidelines and rules of Unlock 5.0, it is necessary to see whether cinema halls are allowed to be opened in October? Earlier from September 21, only open-air theaters were allowed to be opened.

The lockdown imposed amid the COVID-19 pandemic is being opened in different stages. So far, the government has made many concessions in 4 unlock and opened up the economy. Under this, new guidelines can be announced until 31 October in Unlock-5.0. The festive season is starting in October in India. It will be seen that in the growing cases of Corona, what concessions the government now gives and what remains banned. Last month, the Home Ministry had said to give some more exemptions and gradually gave relaxations for more activities outside the Containment Zones. Now, when the industries are expecting an increase in demand from the costumers in the coming festival days, more relaxations can be given.

While public places like malls, salons, restaurants, gyms have already been allowed to be opened with restrictions, but cinema halls, swimming pools, entertainment parks are still not open. It has to be seen whether they are allowed to open from October 1st or not. The multiplex association of India has been requested many times for cinema halls to open. However, in the previous guidelines, the open-air theater were been allowed to open from 21 September.

West Bengal has already permitted the opening of cinema halls from October 1 with a limited number of people entering. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said, to return to normal time, Jatra, drama, open-air theater, cinema, and all musical, dance, singing, and magic shows will be opened from October 1 with 50 people or less. However, during this time, rules of social distance, wearing masks, and necessary preventive measures will have to be followed.

Last month, Secretary to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Amit Khare had suggested to the Union Home Ministry a sample protocol for people to sit in the theater. According to the suggestion, people were to be seated on the alternate seats in one row, while the next row was to be left vacant. Similarly, after one row and one seat, the distance sitting protocol was part of the suggestion.  In a report last week it was also claimed that with the strict rules, permission has been given by the Ministry of Home Affairs to open theaters from 1 October. However, PIB in one of its fact checks had declared this claim as false.

The tourism sector has been hit badly during the epidemic and subsequent lockdown. In such a situation, during the process of Unlock 5, more tourist places and tourist centers can be opened for tourists. In one such effort, the Sikkim government has decided to start services related to hotels, homestay, and other tourism from October 10.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday, September 28, announced that in view of coronavirus (COVID-19), public events to celebrate Durga Puja will not be allowed in Uttar Pradesh. CM Adityanath also said that Ramlila will be staged in Uttar Pradesh under strict COVID-19 guidelines. He assured the people of the state that the tradition of the staging of Ramlila will not be broken due to the COVID-19 pandemic, however, only 100 people will be allowed to watch the Ramlila at a time.
