According to several reports, some people had allegedly gathered in front of the bakery  — located in Indiranagar area in the city — and raised slogans demanding that the name of the bakery be changed as it had a connection to Pakistan.

Photographs of the outlet circulating on social media, show a banner covering the word "Karachi". There is also a national flag displayed with prominence on the glass front of the store.

Karachi Bakery was founded by Khanchand Ramnani, who migrated to India during the partition in 1947. The bakery’s first outlet was opened in Hyderabad's Mozamjahi Market.

Many parts across the country have witnessed protests and violence after the attack on CRPF convoy in South Kashmir's Pulwama on February 14. Pakistan-based terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammad had claimed the responsibility for the attack.

Amid protests across the country in the wake of the ghastly terror attack in Pulwama, a ceramic factory in Morbi district of Gujarat has started manufacturing tiles with the inscription 'Pakistan Murdabad'.

The tiles, inscribed with ‘Pakistan Murdabad’ along with Pakistan's national flag, will be used in the construction of public toilets in protest against Pakistan backing terrorist groups.

The factory owner Suresh Kasundra said, "We are doing it to register our protest against Pakistan. We will increase the production of tiles with demand. Now, these tiles will be used in public toilets of Morbi. But, if we get demand from the other places then we will provide it to them for free as well."

In aftermath of Pulwama terror attack, a food stall owner in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh is offering a discount of Rs. 10 on chicken leg piece to customers who say ‘Pakistan Murdabad’.

The stall owner, Anjal Singh, blamed Pakistan for the attack that took place on February 14 in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district killing around 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel.

“I have put a board in the name of Pakistan at my stall. I have written Pakistan Murdabad, customers who chant Pakistan Murdabad will get a discount of Rs. 10 on chicken leg piece,” Singh told ANI.

"Pakistan never valued humanity and they never will. That's why everyone should say Pakistan Murdabad from their hearts," Singh added.

He also said, “With this slogan, we will reach out to people and tell them that we all should not have any feelings for Pakistan. We should only feel anger. We have always offered a hand of friendship to them but we have always suffered due to it.”

The nation is mourning the martyrdom of CRPF jawans who lost their lives in Pulwama in separate ways. While some are donating to the family members, others are taking up the responsibility to educate their children.

Meanwhile, Lucky Tawa owner Shayad Khan in Kharaghar is mourning the martyrs in his own unique way. Shayad Khan, who owns a restaurant in Kharghar in Navi Mumbai has offered a flat 10% discount to any customer who shouts ‘Pakistan Murdabad’.

Shayad Khan told Zee Media that he was deeply disturbed by what occurred and offered a discount to anyone who uttered these two words.

He added that he received a lot of phone calls from people congratulating him for the move though he did get some brickbats as well.

He however added that he didn’t care for the critics, that he was born in India and that he is a true patriot.
