The Border Security Force sentinels guarding India's first line of defence, celebrate BSF's 54th Raising Day. BSF was raised on 1 December 1995, in the wake of the 1965 War.

The ceremony was attended by Union Minister of State Affairs Kiren Rijiju at BSF headquarters in New Delhi. Kiren Rijiju inspected the parade and took a salute. He addressed the BSF sentinels and lauded their efforts.
