As Delhi gears up for its upcoming elections, the political landscape is charged with anticipation and strategic maneuvering among the major parties. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and Congress are vying for the support of the electorate, each presenting their vision for the capital.

One of the key constituencies to watch is Patparganj, known for its historical allegiance to AAP. Represented by senior leader Manish Sisodia since 2013, Patparganj has become a focal point in the political narrative, reflecting the broader trends and sentiments of Delhi's diverse population. As candidates campaign vigorously, voters in Patparganj will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Delhi's governance.

The Patparganj Assembly constituency, numbered 57 in the Delhi Legislative Assembly, is located in the East Delhi district. It is a general seat, not reserved for Scheduled Castes (SCs) or Scheduled Tribes (STs), and falls under the East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency.  In the 2020 Assembly elections, AAP's Manish Sisodia secured the Patparganj seat by defeating BJP's Ravinder Singh Negi.

According to the 2001 Census, Patparganj had a population of 34,409, with males making up 55% and females accounting for 45%.

The Patparganj constituency in Delhi will go to polls in a single phase on February 5, along with 79 other constituencies of the national capital.

The result for the Patparganj Assembly seat will be announced on February 8, along with the other 79 constituencies in Delhi.
