When Sushma Swaraj took to podium at the United Nations General Assembly, the world was expecting a lot and she delivered with her passionate speech.
External Affairs Minister in her 20-minute-long speech broadly touched topics of terrorism, climate change, UN Security Council expansion and Pakistan.
In her point-by-point rebuttal, Sushma Swaraj completely demolished Pakistan's narrative.
Not only did she 'showed mirror' to Islamabad, but also questioned what exactly has the country achieved in last 70 years.
She then turned to climate change and reminded the world leaders that it's essential to work together for the cause. She reminded the gathering that mother nature's has already warned the mankind with all the typhoons, hurricanes and earthquakes.

Syrian foreign minister Walid Muallem is currently addressing the UNGA. Foreign minister Swaraj's speech is scheduled after him.
Last year, Sushma Swaraj's 20-minute speech ripped apart Pakistan's Kashmir tirade. “In our midst, there are nations that still speak the language of terrorism, that nurture it, peddle it, and export it. To shelter terrorists has become their calling card. We must identify these nations and hold them to account," Swaraj had said.
Known for her impeccable oratory skills, Sushma Swaraj will address the UNGA in Hindi, just like last year.
This week India would mark the first anniversary of the surgical strikes. So, it would be interesting to see whether the Union Minister makes any reference to that and tell the world that India won't shy from using military option if needed.
The Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar has tweeted the timing of Swaraj's UNGA address. Instead of 7 pm, Sushma Swaraj will speak at UN after 8 pm (IST).
This is the second time the External Affairs Minister will address the gathering of the world leaders in New York.
