On November 7, actor Tom Holland treated his fans with a photo of himself dressed in the iconic red Spider-Man costume on his verified Instagram handle.

The image Holland shared was from his upcoming film 'Spider-Man 3' sets, however, it featured him wearing two maks -- one that of the character he is playing and another, a white face-mask, for protection from novel coronavirus.

Shared in a fun way, giving out the first look and a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes from the upcoming third instalment of the Spider-Man movies, but with a deeper meaning and a social message to keep wearing a mask and not take the coronavirus lightly, Holland's post was received with much excitement, appreciation, laughter and love.

“Wear a mask, I’m wearing two...,” Tom captioned the photograph, reminding fans to wear a mask amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Upon seeing the post, while several of his fans expressed excitement on getting to know that the shooting of the film had begun, others, who stated he was doing the right thing wearing a mask, called him 'COVID Spider-Man'.

Actor Timotthee Chalamet could not control her laughter on seeing Holland sport two masks. She commented on the photo with laughter emojis.

Much to the delight of fans, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Walt Disney Studios, two companies that had last August announced they could not agree on terms to continue working together on the live-action “Spider-Man” series, later had retrieved the announcement.

In September last year, in a tweet, Sony Pictures wrote, “We have had a great collaboration over the last four years, and our mutual desire to continue was equal to that of the many fans. We are delighted to be moving forward together.”
