Keanu Reeves has created a pop-culture icon with his action-thriller blockbuster franchise, John Wick. The series has now got a spin-off of a three-part series, The Continental: From the World of John Wick. The official trailer of The Continental was released on Thursday, and the series stars Mel Gibson as the big baddie manager of the iconic Assassin Hotel.

The series revolves around the origin story of a young Winston Scott (played by Ian McShane in the movie), and his journey to becoming the manager of The Continental. Amazon Prime Video released the trailer on the social media, and left the fans amazed. 

Amazon Prime Video released the trailer on the YouTube with the official description, "The series will explore the origin behind the iconic hotel-for-assassins from the John Wick universe through the eyes of a young Winston Scott, as he’s dragged into the Hellscape of 1970’s New York City to face a past he thought he’d left behind. Winston charts a deadly course through the hotel’s mysterious underworld in a harrowing attempt to seize the hotel where he will eventually take his throne."

As soon as the trailer was released, fans of the franchise reacted to the series. An internet user wrote, "This is amazing." Another internet user, "No Actor can beat Keeanu's John Wick." 

John Wick Chapter 4, the last action-adventure saga from the John Wick franchise, took a very strong start at the global box office. The Keanu Reeves-starrer went on to become the highest-grossing movie of the franchise. John Wick Chapter 4 grossed $432 million in its lifetime.
