The new Batman trailer is here, and the best word to describe it is action-packed. The first full trailer for ‘The Batman’ was unveiled on Saturday as part of the DC FanDome virtual fan event, and features Robert Pattinson in the legendary lead role. The 2 minutes, 38 seconds trailer raises the dark factor with plenty of action. In the clip, which depicts Gotham City draped in gloom and permanently viewed in a shade of grey, the Cape Crusader packs a punch and much more. "It's not just a call...," Batman declares ominously in the trailer. It's a warning."

‘The Batman’ trailer, directed by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson, begins with The Riddler's capture. Fans of the masked vigilante, on the other hand, know that the main enemy will never surrender without a struggle. While The Riddler's face isn't shown in the video, it has been revealed that Paul Dano will play the role.

This time, wealthy Bruce Wayne is allowing his altered identity, Batman, to use brutal tactics to combat the threat of a serial killer infatuated with him. Zoe Kravitz, who plays Selina Kyle, or Catwoman, joins him in his fight for justice. The clip also features Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth and Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot aka Penguin.

Reeves co-wrote the screenplay with Peter Craig and is producing the picture alongside Dylan Clark in addition to directing it.

In a statement attached to the trailer, Warner Bros. Pictures added, “The director's behind-the-scenes creative team included Oscar-nominated director of photography Greig Fraser (“Dune,” “Lion”); Reeves' “Planet of the Apes” production designer, James Chinlund, and editor, William Hoy; editor Tyler Nelson (“Rememory”); and Oscar-winning costume designer Jacqueline Durran (“1917,” “Little Women,” “Anna Karenina”).”

‘The Batman’ will hit theatres on March 4, 2022, and Warner Bros. Pictures will distribute it internationally, according to the makers.
